Melissa DiSalvo for Ward 1, Boonton
Putting Residents First. Transparent, accountable local government — focused on delivering real results.
As a lifelong area resident, Boonton High School graduate, parent, environmental advocate, and technology leader, I believe local government should be transparent, accountable, and focused on delivering results for residents. My approach is simple: listen first, communicate openly, and follow through on commitments.
What Melissa
Stands For
Protect Open Space
Boonton's greatest assets are its neighborhoods, parks, trees, and natural spaces. Once open space is lost to development, we rarely get it back. Melissa will prioritize preservation and carefully evaluate every development proposal.
Learn MoreFinish What We Start
Residents deserve progress, not endless projects with unclear timelines. Clear goals, accountability, and regular communication — every time.
Respect Taxpayer Dollars
Every dollar spent should deliver value. Melissa will scrutinize spending, pursue grants, and focus resources on projects with measurable community benefits.
Environmental Leadership
As Chair of the Boonton Green Team, Melissa has advanced practical environmental initiatives — from tree preservation to stormwater management.

A Neighbor,
Not a Politician
Melissa is a nearly 20-year Boonton resident, Boonton High School graduate, and parent of two children attending Boonton schools. She's Chair of the Boonton Green Team and an enterprise technology leader who has helped grow a NJ-based tech company from startup to nationally recognized business.
She's running because Ward 1 deserves a council member who listens first, communicates openly, and follows through on commitments — bringing the same accountability to local government that she brings to her professional work every day.
