Melissa DiSalvo has called Boonton home for nearly 20 years. She graduated from Boonton High School, raised her family here, and has been an active community volunteer and advocate throughout.

As Chair of the Boonton Green Team, she's worked to advance practical environmental initiatives that improve the community and protect Boonton's natural resources — from tree preservation to stormwater management to environmental education.

Professionally, Melissa is a Senior Product Manager and part of the founding leadership team at a New Jersey-based technology company that has grown from a startup into a nationally recognized business serving enterprise customers worldwide. For more than a decade, her role has been to listen to stakeholders, identify problems, manage complex projects, balance competing priorities, and deliver results.

That experience translates directly to local government. Successful organizations rely on transparency, accountability, planning, communication, and measurable outcomes. Municipal government should be no different.
